About

Whitney is working as a Natural Resource Educator in Brown County. She will be developing and implementing an outreach plan for the Lower Fox River Demonstration Farm Network, which is a Great Lakes Restoration Initiative project designed to showcase and demonstrate leading-edge conservation practices to improve Great Lakes water quality. Whitney received her Master’s degree from University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, where she examined the role of civil society in local climate politics and the strategies employed by these organizations to motivate behavior change. Since graduation, she has worked on various outreach projects throughout the Fox River Basin and the Great Lakes for UW-Green Bay and UW-Sea Grant.
